As a key contributor and Lead UX Writer for the CaringBridge design system, I bridged the gap between design and technology by increasing communication and understanding at the highest level.

UI
Included was a framework for the skeletal structure, styles, elements, components, blocks, and full documentation that supported the design. This step established the groundwork needed for success.

System
Organizing the sections of the design system into a single source of truth bread efficiency for both creation and communication within all teams. This included documentation of the brand, governance, ecosystem, style guide, UI, accessibility and UX guideline sections.

Team & Principles
Collaborated with the business, design and technology teams through a set of guidelines, working together, to abiding by our rules and guiding principles of the design sytem.

Process
Created and established a design system governance process for when components make it into the system as well as the process of iterating current elements and documentation pieces of the design system.
